Nicholas K Fall 2015

Like a well oiled machine, NYFW kicked off with the Fall 2015 Collection from the brother-sister team of Nicholas K.
Inspired by the film “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari”, this collection was a fresh departure from the usual fare we see from this design team. While we still saw fur trimmed hoodies, oversized draped outwear, and drop-crotch pants Nicholas K also showed up dip-dyed silk gowns, knitwear with leather patchwork and fur lined pockets, and fitted wide-legged trousers.
The end result was a gothic yet romantic take for Fall that keeps true to the designers aesthetic while giving off a fresh, modern edge.
